Emotional Freedom Technique, What is it?
Posted on01. Oct, 2006 by shop.
Emotional Freedom Technique, also referred to as EFT, is a means of accessing energy meridians within the body that have long been a part of acupuncture in Chinese medicine. However, EFT is noninvasive and can be used by the individual without the aid of a practitioner anywhere, any time and for any reason the individual feels it is necessary.
EFT is a powerful way of combining the established sciences of Mind Body Medicine and acupuncture without the use of needles. The history of the use of Emotional Freedom Technique lies in ancient Chinese medicine and is now becoming recognized by traditional Western medicine practitioners, mostly for its use as an anesthetic in hospital settings. However, Emotional Freedom Technique have been discovered to be a powerful way of accessing and erasing negative emotions in the human psyche.

Weight loss is a multi-billion dollar industry. Most people who enjoy a standard Western diet are also carrying around a few extra pounds that they continue to struggle to remove. Even with all of the media attention on the necessity of eating a well balanced diet, full of fresh fruits, vegetables and raw nuts and seeds, most people struggle to eat the requisite 8 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
Couple this struggle with the high levels of stress and negative emotions that are rampant in a society who draws comfort from airbrushed images of stick thin models and you have a recipe for disaster.

The History of EFT
Posted on31. Oct, 2006 by admin.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) are really a combination and derivation of two other processes – Thought Field Therapy and Acupuncture. Acupuncture has been studied and practiced by Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners for centuries. Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is an offshoot of this theory, incorporating tapping at the meridian points accompanied by affirmations or statements. For close to 30 years now TFT has provided relief and assistance to balance the body’s energy system. Unfortunately, TFT requires intensive knowledge and training to use correctly.

If you had to determine the one or two factors that play into the success or failure of a person in their personal, professional or financial life it would have to be a combination of self-esteem, self-image and self perception. Each of these factors plays a significant role in how and what we are able to achieve in life. People who feel they have low self-esteem or low self perception are often able to find help and assistance with a counselor or a life coach. However, there is also another option which may be slightly more cost-effective and which will develop habits and processes that will help you throughout life. That option is emotional freedom technique or EFT.

How Does EFT Work
Posted on31. Oct, 2006 by admin.
EFT stands for emotional freedom technique and was originally perfected by Gary Craig, a Stanford trained engineer and personal coach. Emotional freedom technique is a simplified version of using Thought Field Therapy, discovered by Dr. Callahan. The ultimate goal of the therapy or EFT is to reduce the negative emotional energy in the body and release the potential an individual has to improve or succeed in their work, family or health. Researchers have discovered that many of the chronic illnesses that we suffer from each day are a secondary problem of increased stress and anxiety in our lives. EFT is one method of reducing or eliminating that stress and thereby improving our health, the ability of body to self-heal, improving our self-esteem and our ability to achieve success.
